Lifting Life Satisfaction

Life Satisfaction is the cognitive part of our happiness. This includes Global Life Satisfaction and Domain Life Satisfaction.

Global Life Satisfaction is our overall evaluation of our own life as a whole, as in, “When I thinking about it, how satisfied I am about my life with all things considered?”

Domain life satisfaction in each life domain such as marriage, children, job, society/community, logically contributes to global life satisfaction. But the whole is not just the sum of the parts/domains. Global life satisfaction also involves a general, all encompassed, evaluation of one’s life as a whole. That is, when you have considered the whole “forest”, not just adding up conditions of each individual “trees”.
