Going to my orchard and find some ripe fruit or berries :)

Going for a casual lunch with friends

Being on the water delights me. I’m looking for a cruise for after my knee surgery.

Love the water too!

Have the cruise and the water scene in mind during your surgery, might help reduce the pain : ). Best wishes!

Dr. Jane, I love this question, it reminded me how much joy lives in the little things. For me, fun often looks like scheduling tiny adventures with the ones I love. A spontaneous family road trip, an afternoon at the summer fair, slow moments reading books at the library, or watching my daughter carefully bring her imagination to life through her drawings. Sometimes it’s as simple as playing freely with my kids at the park, or finding a small way to surprise my husband, just because. These simple joys fill me up in ways that last. 🌻💛

Wonderful! Mindfully enjoying, or savoring, these life's simple joys is truly a "secret" of happiness. "Peak moments" might be great but they are rare and hard to come by. These little things, if we pay attention, are everywhere; or we could create them without much difficulty. And not only they are joyful for the moment, but cumulatively, they indeed build into lasting happiness. Thanks for sharing, Ms. Shartaya, I am very happy for your joyful life!
